Belgian beer is widely known for its thousands of distinctive flavors, brewed in cities, towns, and villages using highly creative methods. Its history stretches back many centuries, shaped by the hands of monks and reflected in art—from the paintings of Pieter Bruegel the Elder to traditional folk songs.
